These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of InterviewVault ("InterviewVault", "we", "us", or "our") and our website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. The Service
InterviewVault is a points-gated database of interview questions reported by candidates. Some content is freely viewable; other content is locked and can be unlocked by spending points. You can earn points through a welcome bonus and approved contributions, or purchase them.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. You may not share your account or maintain more than one account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Points
- Points are a virtual currency used only within the Service. They have no monetary value, are not your property, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are not transferable between accounts.
- Unlocking content spends points at the cost shown for that item. We may change point costs, package pricing, and the rewards for contributions at any time.
- Purchased points are subject to our Refund Policy. All purchases are final.
- We may adjust, suspend, or revoke points and unlocks obtained through error, fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or any violation of these Terms.
5. Purchases
Point purchases are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charge and confirm that the payment method is yours. Prices are shown before checkout and may exclude taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable.
6. Contributions and user content
- When you submit an interview report, comment, or other content, you represent that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share it.
- You must notsubmit content that violates a non-disclosure agreement, discloses trade secrets or confidential materials, infringes intellectual property, or contains another person's private information.
- You grant InterviewVault a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, edit, reproduce, publish, and display your contributions as part of the Service. Published questions become part of our database.
- Contributions are reviewed before publication. We may edit, reject, or remove any submission, and any points reward is at our discretion.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or use automated means to access the Service.
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly post content you unlock; unlocks are for your personal use only.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with the points system, paywall, or security features.
- Upload malicious code, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other accounts.
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, software, and the compiled database, is owned by InterviewVault and protected by intellectual-property laws. Unlocking content grants you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to view it — it does not transfer ownership.
9. No affiliation with the companies listed
InterviewVault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any company named on the Service. Company names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Questions are reported by candidates, may be inaccurate or outdated, and may not reflect any company's current interview process.
10. Disclaimers
The Service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that content is accurate, complete, or current, or that using the Service will improve your interview outcomes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, InterviewVault will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $50.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold InterviewVault harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for conduct that harms the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and any remaining points are forfeited and non-refundable.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will be communicated through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute that is not otherwise resolved.
